SEASREP meets with Historical and Heritage Socities in the Philippines

The CLASP Philippines Meeting, held on 20 August 2025 via Zoom, was led by Dr. Maria Serena I. Diokno, SEASREP Executive Director, and brought together representatives from Philippine local historical and heritage societies to present and discuss the draft of the Online CLASP Philippines Map. Participants shared updates on their respective activities, ranging from historical research and publications to heritage conservation, community education, and public advocacy. The meeting emphasized the potential of the CLASP network to foster collaboration, promote visibility of local historical and cultural initiatives, and strengthen inter-institutional ties in preparation for future regional engagements.
